Faith on Fire
(a LOGOS PROGRAM)
LOGOS is a high energy experience designed to build relationships
with God, one another, and within the congregation. It involves people
of all ages – students, teachers, and volunteers. The LOGOS program is
based on Acts 2:42. They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching
and fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. Like Jesus’
apostles, we study, play, eat, and worship together. There is room in
the program for everyone who wants to have fun learning and serving God.
Those in grades 1 through 12 may enroll as students. Many others are
needed as volunteers. The program runs for most of the school year on
Wednesday nights and includes dinner.
To enroll, volunteer, or if you have any questions, please call Lacey
Reinhard at 809-8909 or leave a voice mail at church on extension 324.

Kick-Off LOGOS Event
This year, the LOGOS Kick-Off Event will be held on
September 28, 2011. We will begin at 6:00 p.m. with a family style
dinner and worship, then continue with games and fellowship until
8:00 p.m. cost is only $3 per person for dinner. You do
not need to be registered for LOGOS or a member of the church to
attend. Come find out what LOGOS is all about, and how you can
be a part of this important ministry!

LOGOS will start on October 5, 2011 and run most Wednesdays through May 23, 2012.
Grades 1-5 meet 4:30-6:30 p.m. with fun games,
grade-level Bible Study, and Family Dinner/Worship time. This group of
students starts out with fun games to get them active and interacting.
During the Bible Study time, they will learn about faith and Jesus. They
also learn ways to participate in and lead worship, and will do so once
or twice during the year. During Dinner/Worship time, the kids have a
chance to interact with family and older kids in order to have a sense
of "belonging" in the church. Through this, they see where their journey
down the path to Jesus can lead them.
Grades 6-12 meet 6:00-8:00 p.m. and focus more on
learning about their faith and how it plays a part in every day life.
They start with Family Dinner/Worship with the younger kids and you will
learn what it means to be a disciple of Christ, and a role model. There
is also some worship time at the end of dinner geared specifically for
the older kids. Students then attend "youth group" style classes where
they learn how to take ownership of their faith and interact with it in
everyday life. Eighth and ninth grade LOGOS participation is part of the
Confirmation requirement.
